    Locked myself out of my apartment. Had to take the subway to my office (luckily I had my MetroCard in my pocket) where I had a spare key. It was Thanksgiving weekend (going back more than 20 years) and my roommate was out of town. Fortunately, I was able to persuade the security guard to let me into the building. I had only run out for a quart of milk.
