    Rain on a hot sidewalk or asphalt. Rain on the beach or at sea. Rain in the woods. A barely detectable trace of ozone. All cool. But, I guess I didn't actually smell the rain itself.


    HYE "smelled" whether it's warm or cold out before you actually "felt" it.

    DD, I suppose the ozone smell, as it's not really started to rain yet, when you can "smell" it.
    No, I can't smell warm or cold...it's just humid here, lol. My husband smelled Fall today :)
