    Yes - twice at the ocean as a teenager - the last time I thought I had broken my neck o due The to force , how I landed and that I could not move for about 10 seconds after it happened (with my head underwater) ... but I still body surf with my sons over 30 years later ... just more a lot more careful and on calmer days.
