    Yes many times on trails and even a mama bear and her two babies on my driveway. I live in bear country. I find they usually don't want to encounter us and if you give them a lot of space they will turn and go back into the woods. I have encountered black bears not grizzly bears. I have only seen one grizzly bear in nature.

    Crossed the Atlantic in the 60s on a ship, only saw dolphins.

    No, I don't even have one and I would never even consider getting one! I don't like them and I do love my body so tattoos are a no go no way for me!
