    yes, I locked my infant and toddler in the (running) car. Technically a non-emergency but I was in a panic. They were great and managed to unlock it for me.

    Yes, I drive up and down parts of the Alaska Highway in Canada regularly. Never drove to Mexico, though I took the bus to Tijuana once :)
