Hello, I'm new!

Hi, I’m 36 year old mother to 4 wonderful kids. Just getting started today and looking for pals for motivation and inspiration (all tips appreciated). My biggest challenges are rich cooking, working overnights 3 days a week, and I’m lover of sweets.
My weight gain started about 7 years ago, when we moved to a new area. Not having friends or family near us- we found entertainment in eating out and drinking (wine, soda, and beer); coupled with having my youngest 4 years ago only hurt more.
Leading me to what brought me here- on 3/27/14 I stepped on the scale and saw 213lb looking back at me…yikes! I was devastated & overwhelmed with emotions of anger, frustration, sadness, hopelessness, and failure. I left from work that morning and drove straight to the Waffle House to have my last guilt free meal. I started working out that day and cutting down on carb intake. My goal is consistency in doing the work it takes to develop a healthy lifestyle (eating & fitness); helping me to lose and maintain 72lbs. Feel free to add me!

    Hello! And welcome to MFP! I started working out back in 2010 when i weighed 170 pounds. I had an account here once beforebut it didnt save my data. I signed up once again and so far have lost around 30 lbs.! Add me as friend if you like. :-)
