How do you go about logging the calories burned from a workout if you use your HRM? I know it's possible I just can't figure out where the right spot is.

Name your workout and put it in search, it should have a option to add an exercise to the database when you scroll down and then it will let you create the workout and manually put in the calorie burn.

If you have the HRM cals, then it doesnt matter what you call it

I added it to the database but I didn't really want to do that every time......i just wanted to label it (so I know what I did) and enter my cals burned and put it in my diary. I thought there was a way to do it that way but I just can't find it.

Ok....I take that back.....the way I did it put it in "my exercises" and it isn't in MFP's database.....that's what I wanted. I didn't want someone else using my entry and it messing them up (not because I'm selfish but because I don't want to mess someone up....make sense?)

    Thanks for the responses.

Just use MFP's entries. You can change the cals burned MFP gives you just by typing in what your HRM tells you.

I added PER HRM to the database, so you can use that and just write in what exercises you did in the comments block. Hope this helps you! You change the amount of time you worked out and the calories burned in the appropriate boxes. That's how I log all of my exercise.
