Hi MFP people,
I started here in June 2013 and it's been a really slow process. I am 5'2" and 46 years old, overweight since age 13 and class 1 obese for the past few years. I really didn't know how fat I was until I saw my starting pic which I got my hubby to take when I started MFP. Anyway, I have logged daily since June 17th, some weeks I steadily lost, since Christmas I have only lost 3 lbs, but I walk a lot and this week got back to my jogging that I was enjoying last summer. I don't diet, I count calories and allow myself everything. I cook most of my meals and bring lunches to work. I just started Couch to 5K and 30 Day shred alternate days, I feel better after this first week of actual exercise, with the hope that I might actually meet my goal. Yesterday I decided to take a progress photo and there is definitely a difference. I look at these success stories daily, I find them very motivating!
I've gone from 190lbs to 147lbs and my goal is 135. I've gone from a size 16 pants XL tops to a size 8 pants, M tops. More importantly, my goal is now to get fitter, get some muscle tone and stay healthy for the rest of my life. Over being fat!
