Creatine noob

I am thinking about buying my first batch of creatine. I have read a bit about it but was wondering if it would help to build more muscle whilst cutting?

It will likely help you to increase your strength/endurance while resistance training. If you're cutting, creatine can help ensure you don't lose any muscle mass while on your cut. In general, unless you're fairly over weight, I wouldn't make it a goal to build muscle while losing weight. It's best to have one goal at a time.

The conditions for building muscle usually require you taking in more calories than your body burns throughout the day, and the conditions for weight loss require you taking in less calories than your body burns throughout the day.

    Hope this helps. Good luck!

Won't build more muscle while cutting as you need a calorie surplus. It will help you retain water in your muscles which can help with keeping your muscles looking fuller while increasing strength and limiting muscle fatigue.

Thanks buddy! Couldn't have asked for a better answer. I have lost a lot of weight, but i don't think that i have lost too much muscle as i lift more than i did in the first place. I am just looking to build a bigger chest and arms really, as they look defined but not big...hopefully the creatine will help do that. I just really don't wanna risk getting fatter by eating more lol

There's nothing magical about it. A few pounds of water weight once loaded and like 1-2 more reps early in a resistance workout.
