I Need Help...

I'm really really having a hard time right now. I've been very diligently been eating under 1200 (no cheating either!!!) calories every day. I've been doing yoga, walking, biking, AND been doing low weight/high rep lifting EVERY DAY!!!!! I'm freaking out because I started at 128 lbs, and I was think, 'oh, I want to get down to 120! I'll start counting calories and working out and I'll be perfectly healthy!' BUT I've been steadily gaining weight instead! I'm at the gym for like 2 or 3 hours a day and I'm literally not eating very much. I'm even adding things I don't eat to my fitness diary as a buffer just in case! It's so frustrating because today I climbed on the scale and measured as 150 lbs!!!! I'VE GAINED 22 LBS!!!!!!!! What is wrong with me?!? I'm so frustrated and upset and the only advice I've gotten from anyone is 'don't be so anorexic.' It really didn't help....

Open your diary to the "public" setting, if you want people to give you advice.

    Also, change your scale's batteries

    (or possibly troll, not sure)

If you are working out that much you might have gained muscle which is heavier than fat. Did you take measurements of your body? Did your pants get tighter? It is very difficult to tell without more information! Health wise, all is O.K. with you? Thyroid checked?
I hope you will find the problem, best of luck

first off, if you're eating 1200 cals, you need to be eat back exercise cals as well... there is also no reason to be in the gym for 2-3 hours - its quality not quantity...

do you weigh and measure everything you eat with scales?

What's your body fat percentage before and after you gained weight?

If you've gained 22 lbs you aren't eating under 1200 calories. My guess is you aren't measuring what you eat. Either way, if you're eating less than 1200 calories a day, you aren't eating enough.

Read this and fix your diet because that's your biggest problem.

Under 1200 calories probably means ur metabolism is at a snail's pace. U might increase high quality, nutrious foods into your day. Lil meals, 5 to 6 times a day.
