When Fitness becomes a habit

I would have never imagined that I'd be worried about spending an entire 24 hours without burning at least a few calories through physical activity but I can confirm that this has finally happened.

On Monday while out walking I sustained an injury in my shinbone (tibia) area. The feeling is similar to when someone kicks you (even though I have not been kicked). Someone gave me a technical name for the symptom which I don't recall. Well the short of it is that any form of walking is somewhat painful and I can get around provide it I keep down the distances and the rhythm. Yet even in this condition I pushed myself and clocked a little bit over an hour of mild walking.

  • Good for you (not the pain)

I'm still working on having fitness become a habit... once again.

Why don't you do upper body workouts and not risk your leg? Pick up some weights! Good for you for getting into the habit though!

It's a habit for me...I missed my Monday workout which isn't often, I had to take two rest days and I hated it!
