Healthy Restaurants in Pittsburgh?

I'm taking a trip to Pittsburgh in a week or so, and over the four days, I know I'm going to be eating out most of the time, if not all the time. So, I'm looking for healthy options for lunch or dinner, where I won't necessarily spend all my calories on one meal. I know I'm probably going to go over a time or two, but I want to stay as healthy as possible. (Except I'm totally having shabu shabu and bubble tea one day.)

A pirmanti's sandwich isn't terrible, calorie-wise, largely due to lack of condiments.

inb4 the butthurts over sodium. They're probably Flyers fans, too.

mmmmm.........primantis...i don't care if you're on a diet or not, it's a MUST try if you're coming to our great city!! There's a great app called Healthy Out available where you can put in your specialty "diet" and it will search nearby restaurants that have menu items for you! Depending on what area of the city you'll be in, you should be able to find some great places that will have relatively healthy options!

I agree with going to Primanti Brothers! Its not diet friendly, but its a must when you visit Pittsburgh.

I suggest BD's Mongolian Grill. You get a bowl and fill it with as many veggies, meats, etc. as you want. Then you take it to the grill and they cook it up and serve it to you. It can be very diet friendly.

You can also find a few diet friendly choices at The Cheesecake Factory (if you avoid the cheesecake itself).

A lot of your choices depends on what part of the city you are in. We have a LOT of great places to eat here.
