Does anyone use a fairly cheaper HRM maybe from walmart? I saw some for like 20 or 30. I don't want to spend like 60 or 70.

I got one from walmart for $50 and it came with a chest wrap piece that enables you to take a heart rate from up to 3 feet away. This is the only way to get an accurate heart rate while running. It truly is a piece of junk. The strap broke after the second time of using it, so i formed my own strap. It was definitly a cheap solution to my problem and it works just so long as your not sweating.0 -
I got mine from Walmart, I believe I paid $27 for it. Works fine, but I will be buying a new one on Ebay today. Only because the cheaper ones don't take a continuous heart rate, at least the cheaper ones I've found. Have to constantly push the button for it to take your heart rate to get an accurate calorie count. I would rather have one that takes a constant HR....but for a cheap HRM it works!0
