I just joined and created a profile. I found this site yesterday and it took me about 2 hours to find it again today. All the stories of weight loss are so inspirational and the tools to track calories is really great. I hope to lose about 20 pounds which I have gained since I turned 50...5 years ago. I also quit smoking 3 years ago and gained some more weight. I look forward to being part of this site. I have had trouble losing weight.......I think I need to moderate portion size and stick with the plan and truly believe I can do it.Thanks Barbara

Welcome Barbara!
If you log everything you eat, and weigh/measure everything, and stick to the calories you are allowed daily, you will drop the weight. I am 50+ too and told myself I would never diet again, but finally realized I needed to and love the results so far!0
