Anyone doing/done DietBet??

Just curious if anyone has tried DietBet before? Did you like it?? Did you lose more than you thought you would? I've been thinking about doing one after a girl I work with won $160 and lost 10lbs in a month.

I am on my 4th dietbet. I found the site after hearing about it from Jillian Michaels last summer and I haven't stopped since! Currently I'm doing the DietBet 10 which started back in November and ends in May. To me this is the best way to go about doing anything on DietBet. While it seems like a huge commitment $100 buy-in, but I like how they break down the weight loss each month.
Month 1: Lose 3%
Month 2: Lose 6%
Month 3: Lose 8%
Month 4: Lose 9%
Month 5: Lose 10%
Month 6: Maintain the 10% loss
This site has definitely kept me motivated to lose/maintain weight better than anything else so far! I would definitely recommend it!0 -

I have done it a few times. Always enjoyed it for the motivation, just don't go in there doing it to make money. I always made an extra $10 or so but nothing significant enough to make it a huge deal.0

I just went to the site for the first time, it says lose 4% of your starting weight in 4 weeks. If I am 160 lbs, that means I'd have to lose 7 lbs in 4 weeks?!
I am losing .5-.8 lb per week and there's *no* way I can eat any less than I do now, how does anyone lose 16 lbs in a month!!!0 -

There are two types of games:
4% loss in 28 days
10% loss in 6 months

This is a really bad idea unless you also want to kiss a lot of lean body mass goodbye as well as your money.
Weight loss should be healthy and sustainable, not a bet or a game.0
