loose skin :(

Hi. I am new to this, and never spoken to anybody about this really, im 19 years old.and i had my little boy
17Months ago, and was left with loose skin. I finally had enough and have been exercising for the last 10 days.
And slim fast shakes, with healthy dinners. No snacks only fruit. But ive been told to give up.
I just want to me able to improve it. And be a bit smaller. Im a size 10-12.but look fat and squigy in dresses
And it gets me down. Ive been doing legs bums and tums and floor work. Is there any body else who managed.

Agreed. I am slowly but surely seeing my loose skin and stretch marks disappear.

Also, if you aren't already doing it: Start putting cocoa butter on your skin after every shower. The good stuff, none of that Queen Helene BS. Palmer's is pretty good.

I would stop using slimfast and make your own protein shakes, or just eat real food. It's a waste of money, and it won't teach you anything about good eating habits.
The most you can do to help with loose skin is strength training and lifting, especially with heavy weights.
In some cases, if there is a lot of loose skin (mostly only common with people who have lost a great deal of weight, something like 100 pounds) surgery is the only thing that will get rid of it. But that is expensive and will leave scarring, so it's really a tradeoff.

Lifting weights has given me the most improvement by far.

Yup, this. And drop the Slimslow, just eat real food.

Everyone is different and it really depends on the elasticity of your skin. Talk to a doctor and see if it's possible to tone up by lifting weights. Mine has to be surgically removed.
