Stregnth training, what to do?!

So here is my issue. I am not the most fond of exercise. But I do enjoy a few things. I walk a lot, I bike as my main form of transportation, and I run 5km 4 or 5 times each week. Now here comes the problem, stregnth training. I know it is important, but oh my good god it is duller than a used crayon. I try so hard to do some basic body weight and small routines, but I get so bored that I zone out and sometimes even full on forget what I am doing.
I need to find a way to do some stregnth training that won't make me want to nap. I wish I liked picking up heavy things, but it just loses me. What are some ways that I can introduce stregnth training in a way that is more interactive and exciting, so that I can complete it and get some benefits? My constraints right now are that I can not afford to join a gym, I am moving in a month so I don't want to buy equipment right now, or else I will have to move it(I am moving overseas so this really is a no go). I do have a feild/park/small playground in front of my house if that could be of use.
So I am hoping that those members who are more knowledgeable than myself may be able to give me some tips, pointers, routines, or alternatives to static weight lifting. Thanks guys!

Splurge and buy the You are Your Own Gym app for your phone. It's $2.99, and has a TON a excersises and workouts that you can do with no equipment. If you have chairs, a table, a door, and a few handweights (or a backpack loaded with books, or a gallon of milk), you can do some pretty rigorous strength training. The first time I really used it, after toying around learning some of the various exercises, I did a quick 10 minute beginner circuit, and man did I ever feel it! It's fun stuff, that kicks your butt.0

Try the PLP (push up, lunge, pull up) challenge and do some sprints.
