IIFYM carbs too low?

So I've been toying with the idea of doing IIFYM BUT the calculator gave me a super low # for carbs. Here are my stats

TDEE = 1845cal/day
Weight loss = 1568cal/day
Protein = 190g
Fat = 76g
Carbs = 31g

My question is, what the eff am I eating to get all that protein & fat without going over my daily carbs?!?!? Seems like a miscalculation to me :-/

    Which calculator did you use? It's likely a miscalculation.

    Meat Fish Eggs and Vegetables?

    But really though. That's a miscalculation. 190 grams of protein is nuts for a normal person. Or are you a competitive body builder?

    The IIFYM calculator and website is great and all, but they're just cashing in on the concept...they didn't invent it...there is no ideal macro setting that some random website can give you. People generally set their macros to optimize fitness performance...and bodybuilder's macros for example are going to be completely different from those of a marathon runner.

    That website gives 1g protein per Lb of body weight which is ridiculous endless you are very lean and then it might possibly make more sense. The reason your carbs are so low is that they are just cooky cutter giving you 1g protein per Lb of body weight and then fat and rounding out the rest of your diet with carbs.

    It is completely unnecessary to establish your macros with the IIFYM to do IIFYM...IIFYM existed long before random website did.

    There are definite miscalculations. What do you weigh? Have you accurately determined your TDEE? Have you accurately calculated your protein macro (looks most like you have calculated too much protein)?

    For your TDEE to be in the 1850s, you'd have to weigh in the 120s or 130s. In that case, your protein needs would probably be right around 100 grams. You're aiming for double that.

    Your ticker indicates you need to lose 50 pounds, if that is the case, then your TDEE is going to be higher than the 1850s.

    I always thought that your TDEE should be calculated on lean body mass. Does all that extra fat really burn a lot of calories? Personally I don't think so.

    Do 1 gram of protein per pound of lean body mass and .35 grams of fat minimum per pound of weight.

    So for me, I'm 125 lbs and 18% body fat.

    So that gives me 103 grams of protein (125 x 82%) and 44 grams of fat. Then I fill in with carbs. Right now they're set around 265g.

    Muscle does not burn a significant amount more than fat does at rest (less than 10 cals per lb). The act of developing muscle (from the act of lifting and the process of MPS) does however burn more calories however.

    As others have said, your protein is unnecessarily high, which 'eats into' your carbs. Your fats could be a little lower also.

    How tall are you?

    I'm 5'3" and 190lb, so i'm certainly NOT a body builder. Honestly if I work out 2x a week it's a good week! I work as a therapist, which means i'm at my desk or otherwise sitting all day. And to be honest the idea of eating that much meat and eggs in a day makes me gag! The website I used was at IIFYM dot com

    Is there a website that can help me accurately calculate my macros?

    Thanks for all the input :-D
