Ugh, I just got home from a long weekend in San Francisco and I weighed myself only to discover that I've put on 3 lbs. How in the heck did I put on 3 lbs in 4 days?! That's insane! AND we were walking around (uphill both ways!) the entire weekend too!
I was so close to my goal and San Fran ruined it.
:grumble:
Oh well, back to the gym tonight.

It may not be ruined. I know that when I travel I tend to eat out more, and even if I watch the calories and fat that I eat, I can't seem to get away from the sodium that are in prepared foods, which causes me to retain more water. Much of your increased weight may be water as you said you were doing a lot of uphill walking. Try watching your sodium intake for the next couple of days and drink plenty of water.0

DON'T WORRY! You'll see most of that weight come off easily. I went away a few months ago for a weekend and saw the same thing. After I had been home a week, I was back to where I was before my weekend (which made my weekend of restaurants soooooooooooooo worth it.) Chin up. It's not like it seems. :flowerforyou:0

Water weight! I don't know where you're from, but any kind of travel is havoc on my body! Try it again in a few days once you're back to your routine.0

cuz restaurant food is full of sodium, sodium makes you retain water.
Unless you ate like a mad person, I'll bet you go back to normal after a few days.0 -
:flowerforyou: Hello and congratulations on being so close to your goal ! As far as the weight gain thing I can not say for sure...but I know that about a week to a week and a half before that T.O.M. I begin to swell a little and the scale reads 2 to 3 pounds heavier. :grumble: May-be it is water weight . It can be tricky. But no matter....You have done so good , do not be so hard on yourself. You can do it ! :flowerforyou:0

YES! who'd have thought our beloved water would turn on us from time to time LOL....just get back on the wagon and you'll see the scale go down.....course a good tape measure will probably make you feel better.....see water and the scale have this thing....they hate salt soooo when you have some....they tag team you and break you down....don't fall for it! ....lol...its been a long day sorry, me and the son are home sick....can you tell I'm getting cabin fever....anyway!
