Drinking soda every day?

So I'm an ectomorph I was blessed by god to be one. Anyway I workout four to six days per week for 30 to 45 minutes usually strength training and small cardio twice a week with light cardio. But again I always have trouble gaining weight I probably 2,500 to 3000 calories per day. And have gained some weight slowly. But was redwing a can of soda per day just one can increase your weight faster.
So would it be okay to try it out for a month? I mean I already put crystal lite in my water.
What would be the risk to it?
And has anyone here drank a soda every day?
Drink one soda in the morning the rest of the day water.

A can of soda will not increase your weight gain any more than anything else of equal calorific value. Your goal is to gain weight which you say you are doing (if slowly). It's better to put your weight on in a controlled manner mainly via muscle than to just try and put it on two quickly. What you're doing is working so just continue with that and have some patience. Have the odd can of soda if you want but it's better to mainly stick to more nutritionally relevant food for your calories.0

If you go onto the losing weight thread I'm sure there will be loads of people on there that drank soda every day, it's empty calories, just sugar in water, no idea what Redwing is, but fizzy drinks like cola, irn bru, fanta etc don't actually have any fat in them but are very heavy in the sugar and light in any nutrition.
I wouldn't be inclined to drink 1 everyday (it would rot your teeth for a start) but that's just me, if you're looking to gain weight look at nuts/seeds etc that are very calorie dense but have lots of nutrition in them as well (high in fat and protein, there are carbs but the fats and proteins are higher), full fat milk/cheese, greek yogurt etc are all high in calories but better for you nutritionally.0 -
Just remember to brush your teeth!0
