Hi!
Looking for some suggestions on to train for a 8 day run tour. Details: 8 days; Run: 5-10 km 2-3 times a day, total: 10 - 20 km each day.
I currently run (have done Ragnar and many half marathons) but have yet to do something with 6-12 miles a day for 8 consecutive days. Any suggestions on how to prepare? I have 14 weeks.
Thanks!

What do you mean when you say Tour (is it similar to a training holiday where you are coached throughout the holiday or is it an A to B type tour over 8days)??
I've not run for 8 days in a row before and whilst I'm training for a marathon and averaging about 40miles a week I wouldn't class myself as an endurance athlete.
Have you thought about going out for shorter easy runs in between your training runs??
I would think a lot of it is mental strength, if you're from the UK there was a Sports Relief effort a few years back where Eddie Izzard ran back to back marathons (43 marathons in 51 days), endurance I think is very much about mental strength, you've got a good base to work on.
I'm sure there are endurance athletes on here that will advise better.0
