Things you've noticed/learned from weightloss

I'm just curious of any weird things you noticed after you lost weight? For example, I always wore scarves before, and I convinced myself that I really like wearing them, when in reality I just wore them because they were a good way to hide some of my fat. However, now that I lost some weight, I can't stand wearing them any more. Or any weird things you noticed about your body while it was changing, like me realizing how small my wrists actually are, or even weird things that happened with people noticing you lost weight, or just whatever, just weird things that occurred after/during weight loss. Trying to stay motivated, and guys all inspire me!!

I was always hot, now I'm always cold. and it's warm here in so cal. I noticed I can run easier without the extra weight, now I'm on a mission to lose more weight just so I can run further and for longer times.

I was sitting at my desk, stretching and yawning. Mid stretch my hand grazed something hard on my neck, and it startled me. It turned out it was the muscles in my neck standing out! My neck still fascinates and creeps me out as I continue to get more definition there.

It turned out that being 40+ isn't a real excuse for falling out of shape. Once I started working out like I meant it and cutting back on excess calories many of the things I blamed on age firmed up and slimmed down.

First thing that comes to mind is cardigans. I still like and wear a few of them. But I used to stick a cardigan with almost every outfit, I think partly because it felt like my fat was hidden. Now I just see a big frumpy silhouette when I wear one. I would much prefer to wear a nice top or dress with sleeves that hide my problem-area upper arms but flatter my body overall.

As for scarves though I am kind of the opposite, OP. Before I felt like they just added weight to me and made my face look fuller. Now I love accessorizing with a scarf, especially with a fitted and/or short sleeve top. For some odd reason it makes me feel smaller in a way, with the volume of a scarf instead of a necklace.
