The Big 4-0

Hi Everyone! I turned 40 a few months ago. I've never really been in good shape, and I realized that it's now or never!

I'm 5'2 and I have about 12-20 lbs. to lose. When I was in my teens my highest weight was about 170. I lost a lot of it by cutting back on fast food and other junk.

Now it's time to actually get fit so that the aging process goes as smoothly as possible! :)

Would love some friends!

    Hey, welcome to the 40's! And welcome to MFP and I wish you the best in reaching your goals. A tip for adding friends would be to find through the boards (particularly the intro one) people who look like they have similar interests or goals and send them a friend request. There are many posters and people replying who are open to more friends.

    Welcome to the 40's! I turned 40 a few months ago too!

    You can do this! 12 - 20 lbs isn't much at all! Make sure to log your food and exercise. Its so beneficial to see how many calories you consume vs. burn with exercise.
