Are heart rate monitors without the strap accurate? If so, does anyone know of a good affordable brand. Thank you. ;)

    From the research I've done, HRMs without the chest straps are not at all accurate. I have an HRM with a chest strap and it doesn't bother at all, it thats what you're worried about. You can find many affordable options. I got mine (polar FT7) on amazon for about $70 but there are cheaper ones. I really dont recommended an HRM without a chest strap, though.
