Spreading out calories?

I tend to have pretty long days. My daughter is usually up by around 7:30am so that's when my day begins. If I'm working, I work 3pm to 11pm plus have a 35ish minute drive home. Usually end up getting home around 11:45. Go to bed about 12:30 or atleast I try to. Days I don't work I usually end up in bed between 9:30-10pm.
My question is mostly for days I do work. Breakfast I usually have around 8-8:30 have a snack 10:30 lunch 12:30-1 have another snack around 3 right when I get to work. My problem is I'm a CNA at an assisted living (though it's more like a nursing home). From 4pm to about 10pm I'm on my feet running around taking care of people. Most nights I'm not able to sit down and eat my dinner until 10. I'm just looking for some ideas about the best way to deal with it? I usually have ~600 calories left when I leave for work. Yesterday I made myself a fruit smoothie so I could have that throughout the night but doing the sipping throughout the shift didn't really give me the satisfaction of actually being able to eat something ya know?
Not really sure if this is even the right place to post this but help?

Would it make sense to switch your meals around, so maybe you would have your smoothie or something at noon, and your "lunch" at 10 pm? Or have a bigger meal at 3, and save 300 cal or so for an after-work snack? Just try not to be boxed in by what type of meals you are "supposed" to have at specific times, and go for when you're hungry and what for.0

you have to go with what works for you ... dont hold onto the 3 meals names or "normal" times, ...
when would you prefer to have your larger meal "dinner"
when would it be best for your second? etc ....0 -
Oh no the smoothie wasn't my meal it's was just a way for me to make it to dinner without feeling like my stomach was gunna eat itself haha. I dunno. I'm thinking of just maybe eating my lunch right before I leave for work and hoping it'll help me stay full until I can eat again? Its just difficult trying to spread everything out so I don't have to worry about being overly hungry or not reaching my calorie goal for the day0
