what was your favorite food before you made lifestyle changes?
The same foods I enjoyed before my lifestyle change....
Sushi
Tiramisu (NOT tiramisu cake, though)
Godiva
Ice cream
Bread
Lobster with butter
Cheddar and Sour Cream ruffles
Cookies
Brownies
PB&J (toasted bread, strawberry jam, cut in half and dipped in whole milk)0 -
Everything deep fried... mozzarella sticks, jalepenos, chicken, seafood, snickers bars, EVERYTHING!!
Homemade nachos with cheese and sour cream piled high
Anything with cream, savoury or sweet0 -

Fast Food - Weinerschnitzel
* Easy to avoid because the closest one to me is about 30-45 minutes away!
Cheat Food - Pizza
* But even then, I still have pizza now and then. I won't cut it out of my life!

Pizza. it's my biggest weakness. I still have it. Just in a different way now. I make homemade pizza on small tortilla shells. Easy on the cheese and only veggies. No meat. It's satisfy's my pizza cravings.0

I still eat ALL of my favorite foods, but I eat healthy serving sizes now. GO PASTA! :drinker:0

Yams, pumpkin pie, and wine. I'm learning to like and appreciate more flavors as I learn to cook and eat more naturally tho.0

Pasta. Holy moly the pasta I can eat. It's all about the texture, too. Spirals, tortellini, shells... My absolute favorite is chicken fettuccine alfredo from Old Chicago... though I haven't had that in nearly a year since relocating to a state without one.
Other than that, I can eat my weight in sushi. Sakari in Winter Park, FL is where it's at.
Oh, and then there's my mama's cooking. You wouldn't believe the lard and butter and salt and mayo that sneaks its way into just about everything... mashed potatoes, garlic chicken parm, country fried cube steak...
And when it comes to sweets, there's only one thing that really gets me, and it's specific and expensive enough that I can actually live with only geting it once a year... there's a restaurant in Orlando called Christner's that makes the most heavenly carrot cake you can imagine.
So, yeah. I could talk food allllll daaaay loooooong.0 -
