    I tried this diet but the blood bank wouldn't sell many any blood . . .

    My quick Google search tells me that As "flourish on vegetarian diets." I am a vegetarian. That's all the scientific backing I need. :wink:

    I'm A also and I did not flourish on a vegetarian diet. I did tons of research and was extremely careful to eat a balanced vegetarian diet. (I got the wink, just adding on to your post, not disputing it).

    I've told this story on similar threads but oh well -
    I was at a conference where a naturopathy doctor spoke. She told about her experience on this diet. She was also suggested to do the vegetarian diet, switched over, and had amazing results. Lost weight, her skin glowed, etc etc. Then during a conversation with her mother, she realized she was mistaken about her blood type. Turns out she was supposed to be the opposite, with meat and stuff. Oops.

    I have A+ and it says I should be a vegetarian. nopey nope. I like chicken too much. And turkey. But I guess you wouldn't want to be my friend anyway cuz I am not the correct blood type. :laugh: :cry:

    "O" well :D

    You cannot be AO+ ... O means that you have neither A nor B antigens...

    Someone's genotype can be AO, but their phenotype would be A. A and B are dominant over O. A and B are co-dominant with each other:

    AA genotype = A phenotype
    AO genotype = A phenotype
    BB genotype = B phenotype
    BO genotype = B phenotype
    AB genotype = AB genotype (i.e. both antigens)
    OO genotype = O phenotype

    My husband is O-, I'm A+. Do this mean I need to start making seperate meals?. And what does this mean for our kids, how the heck am I supposed to feed them without knowing theiir blood types :)

    Same for me and my husband! He gets frequent phone calls from our local blood bank.

    I regularly enjoy oreos, spagetio' life savers, jaffas, peas, " meatballs"

    Scoops of icecream, oregano, olives ( hey, round and start with an O).




    But i also like square food too, do i need to cut out square bread and change. to rolls?
