add macros for recipes?

Perhaps a silly question, but is there a way to just add the carb/fat/protein of a given food? I have no idea what kind of pork or apples or onions or crust go into the scrumptiously tasty food at the local pasty place, and I emailed the owner to see if I could get a nutritional rundown of some of them. I linked him to the MFP recipe calculator, but if he comes back and just gives me the C/F/P content, and not the (proprietary) ingredients, how can I add that to a recipe?
Am I SOL?

You can just search the database for macros (protein, carb, fat) and add them. Is that what you mean?0

Searching "carb" pulls up everything titled "lo-carb" "no-carb" and everything other than just straight up macro carb. Throw me some boolean.0 -
Try entering macro into your search too (eg carb macro). That should give you what you're looking for0

Huzzah, I knew there was an obvious term I was spacing on. Durr!
