Hi guys need some ideas on how to increase my protein intake any suggestions would be appreciated.
Low cal suggestions would appreciated.
How does my fitness pal work with protein values, are they accurate, or should I be double checking.

I get a rotisserie (roasted) chicken. When I get home, I debone it and put the chicken meat in containers. I freeze some and put some in the refrigerator. We always have cooked, deboned, chicken meat (no skin) available to eat. I take the bones and make some broth with vegetables and spices.
I keep hard boiled eggs in the refrigerator.0 -

I'm finding the protein values here are sufficiently close to what other sources say.0

your chicken idea is strong! I normally just grill chicken breasts and have leftovers for a few days. I like your idea for a change and to get some darker meat in too.0 -

I'm pretty sure that the default MFP protein is the minimal that you would want to be eating. You probably want to eat upwards of 25-30% of your calories from protein to maintain lean body mass while cutting.
Also, are you on a calorie deficit at 2000? Because you won't build any muscle while in a calorie deficit. If you are in a surplus, eat 1-1.25 grams of protein per lean body mass (total mass minus fat mass)

Have changed settings on mfp to 40 pro 30 carbs 30 fat
