Turbofire - Anyone using it?

I have had a lot of success with Turbofire, and I plan on starting the program over this upcoming Monday. I am going to follow the schedule that came with the DVD set.

Just looking for friends who are doing the DVDs as well, or are looking to start doing them soon?? I saw the 30 DS post and I would love some motivation with TF

I also have turbo jam, but i have not even opened the discs yet.

    I LOVE TurboFire!!! I've done it several times and do it at LEAST once per year! I'm currently doing T25 but I'm always looking to connect with other Turbo fans! Feel free to friend me!

    I'm on Week 7 and I absolutely love it! It's my first BB program so far - plan on moving on to Chalean Extreme next! :-)

    I started Turbofire this week. I love it. Can't believe it sat under my bed for over a year. It's so much fun. I felt muscles I hadn't felt in a long time and don't remember sweating that much to anything else in a while either. The music is so good and Charlene is very upbeat. I'm really looking forward to continuing with this DVD set and seeing the results. I was really glad to find this topic on MFP.
  • I am currently about to finish week 6 of the schedule that comes with the set! I LOVE it! It is by far the most intense workout I have ever done continuously. I have noticed that it never gets easier(which is a good thing) I just mean the better you are at the moves the more intense your workout can be. I have a lot of weight to lose and was very sedentary or lets be for real LAZY. I am starting to feel great and I refuse to miss a workout, I enjoy it so much that it makes it easier to commit!

    Hi All!

    I am just finished Day 6 of Week 1 TurboFire and I'm committed to seeing this program all the way through (5 months including the delux/extra workouts). After that I hope to be able to attempt P90X or Insanity, which I already have but could never do all the way through because I wasn't physically fit enough for Insanity and i get a little bored of Tony. But TurboFire has great music and I really like Chalene!

    Was anyone else surprised by how much the Nutrition guide suggested you eat? Duirng Weeks 1-5 the guide says I should be eating 2,200 caloreis/day (204 lbs x 12 sedentrary = 2,448 +450 avg burned during TurboFire = 2,898 - 500 calore deficit for 1 lb loss per week = 2,398 - 200 reserve for items i misstrack/forget to track = 2,198). This seems like a lot, so told myself that a net calories of 1,600 was more reasonable as my main goal is to lose weight. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?:smile:

    I have done Turbofire all the way through a few times. Love it. I am doing another round right now. I think I am on week 5 or something like that. Would love to join your thread.

    I always question the how much they suggest to eat, but I believe in it. When you are doing these workout programs your body is burning so many calories you need to replenish yourself with more. I think they key is to make those calories quality calories....I have to admit I struggle in that area.

    I just started Turbo Fire - I am starting the recommended schedule on Monday, May 12th so this week have been doing Fire 30 just to get used to the moves and build a little stamina.....come Monday I am full throttle!! Friend me and we can help keep each other on track!!!
