So I am planning on going out to Chipotle today and having my usual (Burrito Bowl: Brown Rice, Black Beans, Chicken, Green Tomatillo Sauce, Fajita Veggies, Lettuce (I ask for extra lettuce)). According to the Chipotle website, the calories in this meal are a reasonable 545. Do you think this calculation is accurate and that I should trust logging it? I usually ask for a half serving of the brown rice anyway.

    From Chipotle's website:
"Nutritional content may vary because of changes in growing seasons, different suppliers, slight variations in our recipes, or the different places that we buy our ingredients."

That being said, I really wouldn't worry about it. What difference there may be is going to be pretty minimal and won't really affect your weightloss by much if anything. Just log it, enjoy your time out and don't worry about it. It's semantics.

^^^^Agreed. All calorie counts are estimates, anyway no matter how carefully everything is weighed and measured.

I'm actually just trying to find my maintenance number but I feel like eating something other than college food for a night! I just want to make sure I am getting a ballpark estimate so I know what kind of calories I'm hitting so I can figure out my maintenance.
