Hi everyone! So I live in London but am from NZ. It's my last year in this lovely city and I told myself this year I would pack to the BRIM with London orientated things (museums/parks/events etc). But nowadays I seem to spend all my time either at the gym or work? How do you guys manage to stay healthy but also have a life?

For one, it is not necessary to workout for hours and hours 7 days per week to be healthy. When I'm not actually training for something I generally work out 5-6 hours per week or thereabout...that equates to roughly 45 - 60 minutes 5-6 days per week depending on what I have going on and I'm pretty fit and healthy.

Fitness is a big part of my life (obviously so is work) but I also like taking my kiddos to the zoo or the park or out on camping/fishing trips, etc. You have to create that balance in your life, it doesn't just happen.

This morning I went for a 20 mile ride and this afternoon I'm taking my eldest boy to the zoo for a few hours...tomorrow is a rest day for me and I'm taking both of my boys fishing and then I have to come home and do some work on the patio and garden.
