I would like to know if exercising in a weighted vest boost your calorie burn. I have no idea. Just wanted to input. Thank you so much. The vest weighs 20 pounds.

It will. But I would avoid running with it. Would increase chances for injury and add extra stress to your bones, joints. Walking with it shouldn't be a problem.0

I don't know if wearing a weighted vest will burn calories; probably. I bought one to help strengthen my bones. I wear it along with my ankle weights; around the house, shopping, running errands, etc... The ankle weights will be the most effective for increasing bone density and I am hoping that the weight vest will also increase my muscle strength, thus, burn calories. Here is a link to Some info about the concept: http://www.discoverwalking.com/blog/how-many-calories-burned-wearing-weight-vest.php
Best of Luck to Ya!0
