Quick Healthy French Fries
1 large Idaho potato. Scrubbed but no need to take off the skin.
Cook in the microwave for 4 mins until done.
Cut in wedges so you have the french fry shape but not too thin. (could fall apart if cut too thin)
Heat 1 tsp of Extra Virgin Olive oil in skillet
Cook on each side of wedge until fries are brown on each side
Sprinkle with your favorite topping
**Also works great for sweat potatoes wedges**
Options:
Curry powder
Southwester seasoning (my personal favorite)
Your favorite meat rub (not just for meat anymore)
Pepper or cayenne
Garlic powder
(You get the idea. Discover what's in your spice cabinet).
