Ive been thinking about cutting out dairy, i did have alot of problems with it before that seem to be returning again, i get stomach ache alot/cramps/constipation so im thinking about cutting them out all together
I do alot suffer from gastritis and believe milk triggers it
Ive been looking up the benefits and turns out milk isnt that healthy anyways. Ive been using coconut/almond milk as an alternative
Has anyone else suffered from anything like this? thanks

Dairy hates me too. Cutting out dairy has been one of the best things I've ever done for my digestive comfort. It also forces me to eat all of the green leafies for its calcium content!0

My husband has some dairy allergies and he has felt a lot better since he stopped eating it. It's not too big of a deal, we just leave the cheese or milk out of his food, but sometimes he will do something stupid like eat ice cream, because he misses it, and then he really suffers. Dairy allergies are actually pretty common, I am finding out, many people I have talked to have the same problems.0

Dairy don't agree with me! I can eat cheese and some yogurts with probiotics or more probiotics... But milk and ice cream are a no no! I cut them out completely and now I only a tiny amount of cheese. It wasn't much of a big deal when I cut it out tho.. Only easy for me..0

I cut most dairy out since I'm lactose intolerant and it just wasn't worth the discomfort. I can handle some milk in my daily tea and I can't give up Greek yoghurt! I'll occasionally have cheese as well.
I used to eat dairy and suffer the consequences but now I've found it's just not worth it. Lacteeze pills help, but aren't guaranteed to prevent me from having issues.0 -
I cut out milk and ice cream too. It gives me the worst tummy aches:( but I still get to eat yogurt and some cheeses if I don't go crazy with them. Unsweetened almond and rice milk are awesome instead.0

I notice I get bad breath if I have dairy. Anyone else?0

Yeah I sometimes get stomach upsets from dairy, and a few people in my family are totally lactose intolerant so it could be hereditary? Not sure.
I have not been having dairy milk for about 5 months now. I usually have Almond milk, which is an okay substitute though a bit watery. Also I noticed my arthritis seemed more apparent without the dairy, so I actually take some calcium supplements now just in case.0 -
I get cystic acne if I have too much dairy. I replaced milk with almond milk or rice milk to have with cereal and for calcium. It's very watery but I've gotten used to it and I don't really miss milk.
I still have cheese, yogurt and ice cream a couple times a week and mainly at night when I'm at home. I had cut out all dairy before but when I ate a pizza for the first time in months I had terrible bloat and stomach pain from the gas. I slowly built up my tolerance to have it once in a while. It's too hard to say no to creme brûlée, tiramisu or cream cheese icing.0 -

I gave up dairy about 2 years ago. I use to suffer from sinus issues every morning, it was like clock work and since giving up, no more sinus issues.
Giving up dairy is the best thing someone can do. It produces too much mucus in the lungs and the respiratory system.
Also I have read that it cause that the blood thickens up and that's way people may have high blood pressure.
From what I have read dairy is not good for anyone since its coming from animals. The human being is not made to drink milk from any animal, except maternal milk.
I saw give up the dairy and try giving animal products, you will see your issues going away, as simple as that.0 -
thanks guys im going to cut out milk and go back to almond/coconut milk like i did before, i prefer it, especially coconut milk, its amazing
I may still have small amounts of yoghurt/cheese and stuff when i feel like it since that doesnt seem to set it off really0 -
Good idea. Dairy is crap.
It's made for baby cows, not adult humans.
The very idea that we eat the stuff at all is ridiculous.

There are only a few reasons you should cut out dairy. You don't like it, it's making you ill, it doesn't fit in your macros or you don't like the ethics of the dairy industry.
The "idea" that milk is for baby cows is not one of them. Eggs are designed to grow a baby chicken not for human consumption either. Doesn't mean you shouldn't eat them.0
