If your goal is to lose weight, then no. One day low on protein won't matter. Neither will one day going over calories really but there's no need to. Your diary isn't open so it's hard to make suggestions but if you find yourself low on protein and have extra calories, by all means have a protein shake.

You look very slim, so ether way, but personally I would opt for more protein to build and maintain muscle. I guess it depends on your goals.

No, you don't need it. But if you're trying to gain muscle mass, then ya. Drink a shake.

Just to maintain. No. You'll be fine with out it.

Thanks for the input! I decided to go with it because I don't want one rep I fight for to go to waste.

Love your choice! Strong > thin. Make that work count!
