Not Sure Anymore

Before I sick with a cold, I was doing really good with my exercise routine. But two weeks after recovering, I have lost all motivation to get back into it. I feel like giving up. I feel like I need a structure of some sort, but nothing I've tried is working.

Note: I can't go to a gym. I can't afford it, and no I do not have a job.

I know exactly what you mean. But don't let what you really want get away from you. Start slow. Your recovering body needs time to catch back up. Make it your goal to get up and do at least 30 minutes of some activity everyday until you get back to your normal routine. It doesn't require you to have a gym membership to walk or do jumping jacks. I'm sure you'll do fine, or you wouldn't have even cared enough to write this post. Just know there's a lot of us on here who need a little motivation once in a while. Isn't that why this site exists! Keep your head up!

    Hi..

I hear you...I went a whole month without the motivation to do any works, but coming back to MFP, it has help encourage myself to get back at it.

I mean once you get started, you will feel back in the groove.

Start slow and once you feel you can go longer do it.

The body is amazing and of course you can't forget the mind...

    Keep at it..

This is just the Universe testing you to see what you're made of. Tomorrow, get up and if you do nothing else all day, go for a walk. Do it again on Monday. Really, when you feel like this, the only thing that will help is getting up and doing something and a walk is pretty doable. Even if you just end up standing in front of the TV and marching in place through one show, you'll still feel better.
