IF and alcohol

I know IF doesn't have any rules set in stone but I'd like to get peoples opinion about IF and alcohol...
This past week I've fasted no problem anywhere between 16-20 hours a day and I've been within my calorie range. Yesterday I broke my fast after 18hours and l then I went out drinking in the evening. Because of the amount of food and alcohol I consumed I probably only went over my limit by around 300-400cals. Anyways, my last meal was at 9pm yesterday but my last alcoholic drink was at around midnight. If I want to fast 18hours today, should I count from my last meal, or last drink? I know it makes sense from my last drink because of the calories but I'm really hungry at the moment since my last meal was 17hours ago and I'm always hungry after a night out. Do you think it will harm my ultimate weight loss goal?
