Looking to buy a new one. Is there a difference in ease of use between the round ones and the rectangle ones? Anyone have one they recommend? Under $20.

Thats the one I have, have had it for 3 years and it still working great. I love it0 -
I don't know if there's a difference between round and rectangular other than just design, but there's a rectangular one I'm eyeing for my second scale and it only goes up to 500g
Why don't you post a link of the one you're looking to buy and we can let you know if it's alright?
Sub $20 is great. Should ideally have multiple units, and a "Tare" (place something on the scale and zero out its weight so you can weigh only what's in the container) function is a must.0 -
As long as you can switch between grams and ounces and it has a tare/zero button you're good to go.0

Been using that one and I really like it. Has grams, kg, pounds and ounces on it plus the on/off can zero out the weight.0 -
These are the 3 I was looking at

I ordered the third one because of its 0.01g accuracy but weighing up to 11lbs (for real??), attractive price $10.99, and bright red color. I can let you know how it goes!
They all seemed fine. The grammatical and spelling errors in the description of the first one was a bit of a red flag but nothing serious. I like their lifetime warranty spiel. The one I have right now looks a lot like the second one but isn't the same brand. Like a previous poster said, food scale requirements aren't that huge a deal. The most important thing is that you have one and you use it
The Eatsmart one posted by aeb09 is actually the one I already have. I think it had one of the highest Amazon ratings when I bought it.0 -
I like the Eat Smart one, but over $20. Kinda leaning towards the middle link.0
