Low calorie alcohol

Guys I need help.

I am a big beer and scotch lover but want to cut down. Is there anything that you guys suggest, which is lower in calories and less harmful for my weight loss goals?

You can try to shave off about 1/3rd of the calories going to lite beers, like Sam Adams Lite which has only 119 calories per 12 oz, but I suspect the problem here will not be straight calories, but an inability to enjoy them in significant amounts. About once a week, I have a beer with my daily meal. I don't worry about the calories much.

For drinkers who really love their booz, there are hard times ahead. Wish that wasn't so! :frown: Still, about every 6 months, I go to my cousin's ranch and have a splurge night where I don't even care about anything but getting rosey. That works for me.

Less alcohol, less often? You can still have what you like but if we're talking every day... it's probably really going to impede your goals.

I suggest you go from being a big beer and scotch drinker to just a beer and scotch drinker. I used to be a big Diet Pepsi drinker. I cut down the amount and fit it into my calorie limits.
