Hi, looking for female pals for support and motivation. I love to lift. My usual workouts weekly are lifting major muscle groups about 4 times a week and cardio sessions 3-4 times a week. Im 5'4", and weigh 143. I try to eat between 1600-2000. Im looking to lean out, maybe lose a little bit of weight too. What are some of your calorie goals & workouts thats working for you?

Hi there! I'm a female who's recently started lifting more, about 3-4 times a week. 5'2" and 142 right now, on my way down. I used to be a tiny 105lb dancer who had some health issues & gained 50lbs. Now that I'm healthy & losing it, I also want to gain strength in places I hadn't before (arms/ upper body) in addition to getting my kick *kitten* legs back. I'm eating a bit less maybe 1350-1600 while I've been rebuilding my metabolism (when I started a year ago was eating 1100-1200.) It's been an interesting growth balancing act but since I now work in a gym & study nutrition it helps a lot. Would definitely like some more lifting girl pals!0

+1 for the SL group, lots of lifting ladies, not all doing SL so it isn't a prereq.
I am 5'2" ~138 and have been following the SL program for a while now, and lift 2-3 x/week and box 3x/week. I aim for 1600 in a cut, but will be up to 1800 this week since I'm lifting and boxing on the same day.0 -

Hey! 5'4 here 118-122 on good days lol wanna get leaner def lower calorie intake and bump cardio .. i do 5/6 cardio days and 4 lifting days make sure you leave leg days a day of rest in between. Depending how hard my leg days are can incorporate cardio inbetween you reps to keep heart rate going. Just try to change it up with new routines. You can cut carbs throughout the day just have them in the AM or right after cardio.0

Hi
I have been lifting for the last five weeks and loving it. 18 months ago I weighed over 200 pounds and managed to shift 50 lbs and then hit a plateau. So I decided to start lifting and changed my whole lifestyle and food intake.
I now workout every day with a good balance of lifting and cardio throughout the week and rest periods to allow for muscle growth. After 5 weeks I have lost 2cm from my waist and 3cm off my hips and thighs and my body is toning up nicely and I now actually have muscles!
I have 26 lbs to go to get to my goal.
My TDEE is - 20 %
I also take supplements.
fish oil
whey protein
multivitamin
and fat burners.
I have more energy than ever in my life and feel great but would love to meet others who are doing a similar program to keep me motivated!
Look forward to meeting you!
