Best external motivators? (Books, pictures, etc.)

I am starting on Medifast soon but I battle depression that can be debilitating at times. Not only that, but I'm prompted to take psych meds that will cause the overall process to be quite a task.
So its difficult nesting myself in the proper mindset to lose weight.
Not only do I eat to fill "the void", I eat because the whole ritual of driving out, sitting down and conversing over some nachos is a cheap, social, and enjoyable activity. But my mind is clouded with guilt everytime I put something past my lips. Its getting to the point where I won't go out in public unless in long sleeves, or I won't go out at all.
What are some decent motivating books to read, either weight loss related or not, that helped you with your journey? What are some other external motivators that help you along?

Clothing catalogs are my external motivation. I see a lot of cute summer clothes that I'd like to have but won't look good on me at my current weight.0
