What do you do to get back on track?

After a long weekend away and a surprise birthday party, I ended up not working out/eating crap for 1.5 weeks. I am frustrated that every time I get close to the 30 lbs lost mark, I end up falling off and gaining a few lbs. I am learning to be realistic, but it's not easy! I feel like my extreme discipline in the beginning has set me up to fall hard. (I've lost 23-29 lbs since August 2013).
Does anyone experience a mental block? I feel like since I've never been in the 150's as an adult, maybe my body just isn't meant to go that low. Thoughts?

I eat below my calorie goal for one day. It isn't to make up for whatever I ate that freaked me out so much, but more to remind myself that it's possible and won't kill me, and that my actual calorie goal is reasonable and I have no business going over it.0

As a part of this whole process, realize you are never going to be 100% all of the time. Also realize that 1.5 weeks is completely meaningless in the grand scheme of you life. When you make nutrition and fitness a big part of your life you realize that these kinds of things will always happen and it's not really a matter of going off track and needing to get back on track...it's just life and these little hiccups happen. In the grand scheme, they are irrelevant.0

What do I do to get back on track? I just do it. I don't think about what I have done and how I would do it differently. No pity parties allowed. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and keep moving forward. You have made great progress, there is no need to get down on yourself for not being 100% perfect 100% of the time.0

Thanks for your input!
I think my bigger problem is when I see the weight come off again, it reinforces that I can have bad moments without consequence. While this sounds like a healthy mentality, it has resulted in me fluctuating between 159-165lbs since November 2013. I know I haven't been hardcore about losing the weight, but it scares me that when I am trying to lose, I am actually maintaining. I guess I fear that ever switching to maintenance will result in me gaining back the 23+ lbs I've lost.0
