I watch a lot of movies and was just curious about what you like to watch!

Tell me what you watched last night or over the weekend!

I watched:

A Lizard in a Woman's Skin (Fulci)
The Bird with the Crystal Plumage (Argento)
Torso (Martino)

big movie buff. seems as though you may be a bit more 'artsy' when it comes to movies then i lol.

haven't heard of any of the movies you mentioned, but the title torso intruiged me

i saw the wolf of wall street (way to long and incredibly boring dispite all the T 'n A), American Huslte (probably equally boring but seemed less so after watching wolf of wall street), and 2 guns.

2 guns was pretty fun i enjoyed it. often do like Mark walburgh stuff as much as i'd like to hate him lol

This makes me want to watch a movie. I used to work in a video store ages ago and I would watch all different types of movies all of the time. Now I rarely do!

I seem to only ever watch movies at the movies, have no patience for them at home, but can plough through a boxset in a weekend.
    Saw the double this weekend.
Didn't enjoy...can't put finger on why...

OH I totally forgot about Safe House- need to watch that I adore Ryan Reynolds.
Trying to remember if I saw 2 Guns or not- I'll have to check the trailer and see if it pops into my head- I remember that because there were billboards EVERYWHERE up north- but not much actual marketing for it.

You didn't like Wolf of Wall Street? that's interesting- everyone I know pretty much liked it- although it was a little long.
I hated American Hustle. just bleck. Although- I HATE Jennifer Laurence. Nothing about her I like. That being said- she effing NAILED that role- which made me hate her even more because her character was annoying as Fu*k.

You should check out Prisoners- Huge Jackman- really great movie- best movie of 2013 I think- not great- but definitely the best thing they put out last year.

I watched Anchorman 2 last night- and that afternoon Ride Along- which was mind numbing barely qualified as entertainment- I didn't really 'watch' it. so meh. take that for what it's worth.

12 Years A Slave.....I only got 1 hour into it and I had to turn it off. I was boiling with so much anger that it brought be to tears!

I would like to TRY to finish it, but not sure if I can handle it! ugh!

My husband and I then watched Homefront. That was a really good movie! I love Jason Statham!

i also recently saw 'a place behind the pines'. It was shot locally, i knew this but i did not realize that they were going to actually have the setting of the movie be my home town. it was a trip to hear the names of roads and buisnesses and banks you know mentioned throughout the movie, and the local news people in it.

still kinda sucked tho lol. it could have been a lot better.

plus i had heard that they shot a scene in a, *ahem*, gentlemen's club i sometimes patronize. The scene didn't make the movie! i was heart broken *sniff*

and who is the guy in 'place behind the pines' that all the chics go ape **** over?

    i don't see it.

he played a tough guy in some car theif movie, totally unconvincing as a tough guy if you ask me.

could i possibly be more vague? his name is Ryan... something, i think lol

Leo plays a suprisingly convincing tough guy though, he's a for real actor.

    Place Beyond the Pines?

Hermmmm I haven't even heard of it- googling now.

oh Ryan Gosling. yeah- he is meh- I saw him in Driver? I think- it was okay- he has a soft spoken kind of hotness- plus apparently he is a very down to earth very kind person- which is also- an epic turn on for a lot of people. Not so much with the blonde- ewwww
the red jacket hanging off his shoulders while he rides a bike through town- hysterical (come on ... really? I can't keep crap on me if it isn't taped- zip tied- stuffed- or velcrowed on me while I ride!!!!)

But yeah- he's a thing- he isn't MY thing- but a lot of chicks dig him. I'm a Stephen Amell Fan. Sweet baby jesus- the things I would do to that man.

    anyway- ahem- moving on.
Leo- has gotten some CRAPTACULAR roles- but he is an EXCELLENT actor- proof in the pudding I think was Man in the Iron Mask- he did an amazing job on both parts.

really liked gangs of new york and shutter island

Gangs of NY is a great movie- I'm a HUGE Daniel Day Louis Fan. Seriously- he's one of my top 5- 3 actors? I don't know- hard to say- but yeah.

Last of the Mohicans and Gangs of NY- I hadn't seen Gangs- BF introduced me- I think I was easily 3/4 of the way through before I could go OH THERE he is (I mean I knew it was him- but my brain just wasn't getting it).

I heard Shutter Island was a let down- I'm not big on scary- so I never bothered.

Shutter Island is good but predictable. Certainly not Leo's best.
