I want to start working out but I really don't know where to begin. I do nothing as of right now. I am a cashier so I stand a lot but other then that I'm pretty sedentary. Does anyone have any suggestions, or something that has worked for them.
Oh and I can't go the gym, I am pretty poor so I can't spend a ton of money on equipment.
I do have a treadmill, a set of 5lb weights and yoga mat lol.

Just start walking on your treadmill and using your weights as much as you can. If you can move your treadmill in front of a tv, that's a great way to get your exercise while being entertained.
You can walk while carrying your weights, too.0 -
You have enough for a good start since you've not done anything previously. The biggest thing you're going to want to do is develop a variety of workouts that you can do with the equipment you have to avoid boredom/routine. Use your computer to do some searching and you'll find a plethora of ideas. Also, Goodwill and other thrift stores will frequently have some lightly used equipment that you can add to your three items. Yoga is an excellent muscle tone/building routine. Good luck. Find a friend to do some stuff with you if you can.0
