Salsa is super simple! 2-3 roma tomatos, 1-3 jalapenos (depending how spicy), that the basics- toast on a pan to soften them up, there will be black spots (burnt looking) But I think it gives it a good flavor- then toss in the blender! Super easy- add salt to taste(or not)... I love to add cilantro and garlic cloves- just toss it all in the blender- super low cal!!! Its the chips that is the problem not the salsa if you are doing it with chips and salsa0

I make some that tastes just like Chipotle! 7-10 Roma tomatos, 1/2 red onion, 1/4 cup cilantro chopped fine, a bit of salt, and the juice of a lime. Yummmm0

In for yummy salsa recipes!0

3-4 roma tomatos diced
1/2 onion chopped
1 jalepeno chopped
1 handful of fresh cilantro (if you like it)
Lime (or lemon) juice
Salt and pepper to taste
You can add more or less of any ingredient you like the taste of... I love onion so I usually put extra in my salsa with way more cilantro...

ETA: White onion is the best but you can really use any kind!!!0 -
