Weightloss Implant?

Scientists in Switzerland have developed an implant that measures circulating fat in the blood stream and releases a hormone called pramlintide that causes the sensation of satiety. They speculate that this will basically 'cure obesity'. Seriously? I didn't gain weight because I felt hungry. I gained weight because I celebrated with food, I consoled with food and I was bored with food...everything, with food. I wasn't ever really hungry since I was already planning the next meal before I finished the first. I invented second breakfast!

Personally, I don't think this is the cure for obesity they think it is.
