What do you think about eating the McDonald's southwest salad with the Newman's Own southwest dressing and without tortilla strips in a pinch? Does McDonald's mess up salad or is it a decent meal? It is almost addictive tasting.

Does it fit your calorie goal and macros?
Do you have any medical reason to avoid it?
Does it taste good?
Will it adversely affect you in some way if you eat it?0 -
You're the only one who knows what it tastes like to you. Sounds like you like it, therefore it is "good".
If it works with your calories/macros, it's a decent choice.0 -
I haven't had it in a while but definitely my favorite salad they have. I eat it with the tortilla strips though. Just be sure to do the grilled chicken rather than the crispy.0

I like it. I use half the dressing, grilled chicken, tortilla strips and I squeeze the lime over the salad for more flavor. It has I think 400 calories, or something close to that...works great for lunch. I say go for it. Yes it's high in sodium, just drink 2 or 3 more glasses of water.0

I have it or the bacon ranch one often... good stuff!0

I get it and skip the dressing all together. I squeeze lime on it, I love it as a healthy alternative when I'm running around.0
