    A new pair of good walking sneakers would be the cheapest way to go....maybe a friend or an ipod would be good for company...start walking and you will see a big difference in your overall life...As for myself I have FM and since I started walking I have a lot more energy and I'm hoping it will eventually take my pain away as well....good luck in your decision making!!

    Gym membership! Unless you have thousands of pounds to spend on equipment, the cheap stuff is just not worth it.

    They said they can't leave the house due to having to answer phones for work

    TRX or similar suspension training. Great for body weight training, nearly infinite exercise options, and doesn't take up much room.

    I have arthritis as well.
    I would suggest stationary bike.and a great pair of shoes!.. I know you can leave your house but swimming is great!
