Cardo and weights

Hi,

Fairly new to this whole exercise thing but really starting to enjoy it.

Currently weight 16 Stone 3lbs and my current program is:

3 days cardio - 20 minutes intervals on the bike, 20 minutes fat burner on the stairs and a 5k run

I now want to include weights but am unsure whether to A) Lift heavy, B) low reps

Im not looking to get "big" or anything but just looking for what would shred me the most?
